This was our pride and joy, nice warm windows! they installed the window sub frame UPSIDE DOWN with the drain holes on the TOP! allowing water to go in through the foam seal and into the profile staying there, and NOT drain away as the design was intended
This was the best picture showing the FOAM seal after 4
years of immersion in water
it finally gave up and tried to
escape from its waterlogged place in the UPVC frame.

This window was leaking, & had little or NO filler
between the UPVC & the brickwork it was finished & covered
up by plastic mouldings

inspected the work then by removing the moulding,
I later, after seeing him insert a 12" steel rule did the
same with a long skewer that went in as well!
